State Championship in sauna is in Heinola, Finland, every year in August. The first kind of competition was held in 1999. Participants from over 20 countries taking part in the competition on their own responsibility, signing an agreement in advance with the organizers which stated that they will not sue if something bad happens. Participants must stay in the sauna at 110 degrees. They should sit with back straight and butt glued on the bench.
